Advanced Diagnostics
Can save and improve lives.
During your pet's annual wellness appointment, your veterinarian will recommend specific tests for your pet, however our veterinarians recommend the following laboratory tests for every adult cat and dog annually:
- Bloodwork including a chemistry panel and complete blood count.
- Heartworm testing via a blood sample.
- Fecal sample analysis to screen for intestinal parasite infections.
Our Veterinary Diagnostics Include
Digital radiography
Digital radiography has modernized our practice by allowing us to acquire and store images during oral hygiene procedures and assess soft tissue and orthopedics during outpatient appointments. Digital radiography is a powerful tool that we utilize often. It allows our veterinarians the ability to collaborate with board certified radiologists to review images and make recommendations for complex and challenging cases.

In-house blood testing
We have invested in a multitude of in-house laboratory diagnostic equipment that analyze blood chemistries and complete blood counts. These machines provide our veterinarians with valuable information that can help them to pinpoint the culprit of your pet’s health problems.
Fecal and Cytology Smears
Fecal evaluation to identify intestinal parasites such as Giardia, hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, coccidia, and other abnormalities. Cytologies can further evaluate presence of bacteria or other changes that may be responsible for intestinal conditions.
